Hi,
my father in the UK is a type 2 diabetic. My mother tells me the diabetic clinic advised her to give him plenty of carbohydrates like potatoes, rice, pasta etc. I am alarmed at this, it goes against everything I've read. A diabetic diet should be low-carb, high-protein, surely?
