I am doing OK. Still in pain alot, which I know you can relate to. I have lost track now, I'm not sure if I alreday said this or not, lol so I'll just say it. Sorry if it's a repeat
I had a sympathetic block last Thursday. The block went pretty well actually(They offered me sedation drugs, so I took them up on it). It hurt so much less with the sedation on board. The pain came back pretty quickly though, once the block wore off. By that evening I was begining to have the "big pain" return, which really bummed me out. I don't know why I felt so low about it. I really did'nt have much hope that it would work well and relieve all my pain to begin with.
I had blocks back when all this started and I was diagnosed with RSD. They did little to help. Since then, things have only progressed.
I go back to see the doc. later this week for yet another block. Ya know, I try to be positive,try to believe that "this time, things will be different", but it sure is hard. I'll keep hanging on. Sorry for not being more positive. Tomorrow is another day, and I will start over there...looking up. I'm sorry for babbling on so. I'll stop there.
