Greetings to all! May 5 of this year(2002) I received a foot injury in a place of business.I had to taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital.Long story..short...I have RSD. I Thank God for the PM care I receive,they are really trying, as well as I ! I really feel that I am not strong enough to endure what is facing me. I search any and all help/support methods available to me, but I feel that I am quickly going under.

Hi,
I am sorry you are feeling so low. You are strong enough, the strength comes with time. I have had this since I was a baby, and it is a struggle but I promise you your life can still be good. Try if you can to derive as little of your identity as possible from RSD. It can swallow up who you are if you are not very concious of not letting it. Just last week a Doc asked me if I have had the pain as long as I can remember and I told him yes. He said " Oh my God how do you live?" I told him I don't know every morning I keep waking up beeathing. It really is that simple just keep waking up and remember to breathe. You'll be alright. ;}

Thank you so very much for your replying. The only thing that has kept me going, is the knowledge of " young people " that have RSD ! If they go on, surely I can! I now am on a "pain patch" Thank God, I am now in less pain.
