I AM LOST IN A SEA OF DOCTORS PRAYING FOR A DIAGNOSISES. FINALLY I HAD A DOCTOR SAY REPEATEDLY I HAVE SYMPATHETIC DISORDER. I TRIED ASKING IF THIS IS THE SAME THING AS RSD AND HE REALLY AVOIDED MY QUESTION. DO ANY OF YOU KNOW IF THERE ARE OTHER DISEASES, DISORDERS INVOLVING THE SYMPATHETIC SYSTEM?

I HAVE SYMPTOMS OF THIS AND FIBROMALGIA AS WELL.

CAN NOBODY ANSWER THIS FOR ME? I FEEL LIKE I AM LOSING MY MIND AT TIMES. MEDICINE IS NO BIG HELP HERE.

Hi I'm sorry that you cannot get answers! I have RSD and i know it is called many different things! The new name is CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome)It has also been called post tramatic pain syndrome! and also hand and shoulder syndrome! You need to either have your dr tell you what he thinks you have or it's time to find a new dr.

I'm sorry you're having such a hard time http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif I do know how you feel though. I took 6 doctors and several months before I was diagnosed. It does sound as though you have RSD if you have an SD. You should ask your doctor again. You have a right to know what your diagnosis is.
