When I broke my right radius and my ulna it took much longer than usual for them to heal, even though they were not bad breaks. After a broken bone is put in a cast the pain usually subsides after a few days...and although I was put in a cast up to my elbow the pain never did. I hope your sister feels better soon. Good Luck Meg tripod 10-26-2001, 10:46 AM I have two bone fractures in my foot due to surgery and they are not healing as they should because of RSD. There is a unit that is rented and attached to the area while a person sleeps that emits an electrical stimulation which causes the bone to heal. I would suggest she ask her dr to prescribe one. I also am taking calcium with boron called (MCHC)which is the best suppliment you can take for bone healing. Chris0004 11-12-2001, 02:49 PM Tripod, thanks for the info. Its been 3 months and the bone is not healing still. Dr said she has something now like osteoperosis , bone is now shrinking. |
